Maximum Continuous Discharge Capacity

• To select the size of the product, set the safety factor to 4-5. For example, if a 100 kg / h steam trap is required, select a steam trap capable of discharging between 400 and 500 kg / h for maximum efficiency.
• When selecting the capacity, the back pressure (outlet pressure) must be taken into account. This is because the drainage capacity is dependent on the operating differential pressure (the difference between inlet and outlet pressures).
For example, to find the capacity obtained with an inlet pressure of 1.0 MPa and an outlet pressure of 0.2 MPa, draw a vertical line upward from the 0.8 MPa operating differential pressure point in the table above.
