Valve with "pilot" plunger type control for universal use.  High reliability with long experience.

  1. It is easy to replace the old valve with the GP-1000HEN valve, as its mounting dimensions comply with European standards.
  2. Immediately responds to fluctuations in inlet pressure and changes in flow, maintaining the reduced pressure at a constant level.
  3. Easy pressure adjustment and wide pressure response range
  4. Complies with Japanese Society of Heating, Air Conditioning and Sanitary Engineers SHASE-S106 Pressure Reducing Valve Standard.

Specifications Selection Chart

Reducing valve for steam Yoshitake GP-1000HEN

Find the point where the inlet and negative pressures intersect. If the crossover point is within the range (A) on the graph, then the pressure is controlled by one pressure reducing valve. If the crossover point is within the range (B), the pressure can be adjusted by reducing the pressure in two steps.

The valve does not operate in this range (C).

Pressure Characteristic Chart

This graph shows the underpressure change when the valve inlet pressure of 1.0MPa starts fluctuating between 0.3MPa and 1.6MPa while the underpressure settles to 0.1MPa.< /p>

Flow Characteristic Chart

  • Shut-off pressure rise: Within 0.02 MPa
  • Offset pressure: Within 0.03 MPa (when the set pressure is between 0.05 MPa and 0.1 MPa) Within 0.05 MPa (when the set pressure is more than 0.1 MPa and 1.4 MPa or less)

Note) When the reduced pressure is within either of the ranges shown below, calculate the corrected Cv value by multiplying the rated Cv value by the correction factor C obtained from the Fig.1.

  • When the inlet pressure is between 0.7 MPa and 1.0 MPa and the pressure reduction ratio is more than 10:1
  • When the inlet pressure is more than 1.0 MPa and the reduced pressure is 0.4 MPa or less

Nominal size selection chart (for steam)

Reducing valve for steam Yoshitake GP-1000HEN

Example 1

When selecting the pressure reducing valve nominal size at inlet pressure (P1), reduced pressure (P2) and steam flow rate of 0.6 MPa, 0.4 MPa and 800 kg/h respectively, first find the point of intersection (a) of the lines inlet pressure 0.6 MPa and reduced pressure 0.4 MPa. From this point, draw a line down to the intersection with the line corresponding to the flow rate of 800 kg / h — intersection point (B). Since the point of intersection (B) lies between the nominal dimensions 40A and 50A, select the larger — 50A.

Example 2

When selecting the pressure reducing valve nominal size at inlet pressure (P1), reduced pressure (P2) and steam flow rate of 0.8 MPa, 0.05 MPa and 600 kg/h respectively, first find the intersection point (C) of the lines inlet pressure 0.8 MPa and diagonal. From this diagonal line, draw a line to the left until it intersects (D) with the line corresponding to a reduced pressure of 0.05 MPa. From this point (D) draw a line downward until it intersects with the line corresponding to a flow rate of 600 kg/h — intersection point (E). Since the point of intersection (E) lies between sizes 32A and 40A, choose a larger — 40A.

*The margin factor should be taken equal to 80-90%.
